yodex 2012
Sponsored by the Taiwan Design Centre, the exposition's theme was Sustainability. My design was selected to be exhibited in Taipei's venue during May 18-21, 2012. The centrepiece, a hopscotch was drawn with chalk on concrete in the school's rear parking lot. It aims to evoke collective memories of outdoor children playgrounds that have been disappearing from our landscapes. Replacing the numbers is a message to call for saving our planet together (the two chinese character means "we"), making it sustanbile for our coming generations. It's 11 x 17 in, done by chalk and digital.
